Celebrating Simone Pansino of We The Stars
(and reflecting on what it means to turn a dream into something real)

I wanted to take a moment to share a story that’s been sitting with me.
A story about colour, courage, and choosing a life that lights you up —
The story of Simone Pansino, the creative soul behind We The Stars.

Simone started her journey in a legal office.
She knows firsthand the feeling of being stuck in a routine that doesn’t reflect who you are — while secretly craving more colour, more freedom, more expression.

Her brand, We The Stars, wasn’t built overnight.
It was born from a deep desire to create something beautiful. Something meaningful.
As she puts it:

“My dream was created from my vision of expressing my creativity, colours, a love of styling and playing dress ups. The idea was to provide access to quality heirlooms for the queens who have always deserved them — you.”

I read that, and honestly? I felt it in my bones.

Because that’s what I wanted for Billow Beach, too.

I had a vision.
A 3-in-1 beach bag — with a towel, pillow, and zipped space for everything.
It was practical, yes. But it was also creative.
A reflection of how I wanted to move through life — freely, prepared, unbothered.

Like Simone, I didn’t have a roadmap.
I had to learn everything from scratch. Product design. Manufacturing. Marketing.
It’s been scary. It’s been messy.
But it’s also been the most honest expression of who I am.

And what I love most is that Simone doesn’t hide that part of her journey either.
She says:

“Creating something based on my creative visions has been scary and has been a major learning curve toward growth. So I hope this encourages you to follow your truest desires.”

So this letter is for anyone who needs the reminder.
